“We were looking for an outdoor sound system that would not only cover the area, but be able to fill the area with enough sound at a low volume to mask the nearby road noise and provide a great listening experience. We are on six acres and the listening area we wanted to cover is 80′ x 200′ x 80′ with the fourth side being the house and back patio (primary listening area). Beyond the sound coverage area is open pasture.
There were a variety of options available but ultimately Cabling Systems, Inc. (Glenn) recommended going with one of their premier outdoor sound system suppliers. We installed a hybrid amp, a mix of 6″ and 8” speakers, and a buried sub woofer, each tuned to a specific volume and placed in specific locations, to maximize the listening experience. The result is astounding! While the listening experience on the patio, the primary listening area is amazing, anywhere you go within the sound area is balanced and full. When we have guests over the result is always the same, “wow, incredible, sounds amazing”. We now entertain in the back yard far more than we ever did before.
We did have one issue with one of the speakers and both the speaker supplier and Cabling Systems, Inc. were lightening quick with their response and resolution.
